If you've been following my work for a little while, you may have seen quite a few full moon rise photos from this lighthouse over the past year. Well this morning I decided to try something different and capture a crescent moon rise! It was certainly a learning experience and hoping to try again in the future. I also ran into Jim Salge Photography who had the same idea - we spent much of the time chasing this moon down the shoreline as it quickly shot into the sky.
