Sitting on the East end of the yard, this abandoned prison towers over the Piscataqua. There are probably hundreds of pictures of the "castle" from this vantage so I decided to try something different and capture the prison in the blue hour after the sun had set. This was 3 bracketed exposures tonemapped, and taken with the trusty 50mm prime.
Eric is a fine art landscape photographer based in Lee, New Hampshire. Over the last decade he has been actively pursuing the art of photography throughout most of New England, but is especially drawn to locations in his home state of NH. As a life-long resident, this gives a unique perspective on some of the more popular landmarks, and also some of those that can only be found off the beaten path.
