Description
Here is Monday's sunset at the iconic Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick, Maine! If there's one thing about these winter scenes I enjoy, it is the great pastel colors that hang on the horizon for about an hour every evening. Clear skies to the East tomorrow evening should be more of the same, and with moon rise at around 3:30, make sure to get out there!

I thought your name looked familiar! Too funny. I just am noticing that Bryan, just above my comment is also one of the NEP Guild members...and has a gallery on FAA

Congrats on a spectacular rendition from this most iconic New England lighthouse. This image is strong from front to back, every corner. I'll have to check out your online gallery, I doubt this was an accident! The soft glow on the structures is a nice touch :) Thomas~ New England Photographers Guild member

Thanks Thomas! Funny enough, I just saw your shot of Nubble on the NEPG facebook page a few hours ago. Very nice, and killer starburst too!

Stunning image, Eric. It looks like you were in the right place at the right time. I love the lighting and mood expressed in this piece. F/V

Thanks! Yes you are right, I only had minutes to grab a few shots, as the sun was at my back and just about to slip over the horizon. Any longer and I would have lost that cool yellow glow.
