I think every photographer has a wish list of places to shoot, and this had been on mine for years. Since it is over a 2 hour drive from Portsmouth, I kept putting it off, but finally decided to swing up there yesterday.
The conditions were far from perfect; blistering winds, sub-zero temps, nearly impassable roads, etc. There was even a think cloud bank on the horizon that obscured the sunrise and I was not able to get that nice golden light I had hoped for. But in the end, it was quite the experience, and one that I won't soon forget. I hope you enjoy!
Eric is a fine art landscape photographer based in Lee, New Hampshire. Over the last decade he has been actively pursuing the art of photography throughout most of New England, but is especially drawn to locations in his home state of NH.
