Another shot from Sunday's awesome sunrise on the coast of Maine! While I was scrambling around the beach looking for a good composition to shoot with my wide angle, I saw this cairn stacked up on a large rock. I thought it looked good silhouetted against the blazing sky and threw on the telephoto lens to take the picture. If there's any lesson here, it's that sometimes standing back from the "big picture" to enjoy the smaller details can be rewarding!
Eric is a fine art landscape photographer based in Lee, New Hampshire. Over the last decade he has been actively pursuing the art of photography throughout most of New England, but is especially drawn to locations in his home state of NH.
