A view from the South side of this popular lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. As winter approaches, the sun begins to rise further South on the horizon, illuminating this side of the cliffs and keeper's house. It makes for some great pictures that can't be recreated during summer time. The light was still soft enough for me to take a two minute exposure with the help of an ND filter. This really smoothed out the water and wispy clouds overhead!
Eric is a fine art landscape photographer based in Lee, New Hampshire. Over the last decade he has been actively pursuing the art of photography throughout most of New England, but is especially drawn to locations in his home state of NH. As a life-long resident, this gives a unique perspective on some of the more popular landmarks, and also some of those that can only be found off the beaten path.
